Zero Strength and Zero Quality Satellite Signal

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008

If your problem is zero strength or zero quality then you could consider using free to air help. If not, then you might want to check out the following tips and see if they work. You can always find good tips in a DSS forum as well.  When you have zero strength or zero quality satellite signal it is because your dish is not receiving the signal. The easiest way to resolve this is to begin by checking all the connections first. There may be a loose connection somewhere between the receiver and the dish that is causing problems and simply needs to be tightened or reconnected. Double check that everything is plugged into the correct location and that all connections are tight.

One problem that occurs frequently is having the cable plugged into the “In from Antenna” spot rather than the “In from Dish, Digital IN, or LNB IN”. Make sure this is correct and if so then you can move on to the next step. Or, you may have corrected the problem! Other problems could be if there are issues with the cables like a short or moisture in the cables. This is not as likely as the other scenarios so check this one first.

If you have been shopping for cell phone accessories lately you may have noticed how expensive they are. Since you would have to pay upwards of $40 for a Motorola cellular phone accessory and around $10 for a generic one many people are option to purchase generic accessories. This is because the generic versions work just as well as the name brand ones and they are much cheaper. People don’t really want to spend $40 on a Samsung cellular phone accessory but spending #1 or so is not that big of a deal. But, when you begin shopping for generic cell phone accessories there are some things you need to keep in mind. This includes buying the correct accessory for your phone. Not all Motorola phones will connect to all generic accessories. So, you must look for generic accessories that are Motorola compatible and that also are compatible with the specific model number of your phone. This should take a couple seconds to check but it is completely worthwhile to ensure that it will work for your cell phone.

Most consumers probably have never heard of audio mining software, but if asked they should respond that they love it and they are all for it. Why? It is simple, it makes calling your service providers a lot more efficient. No one likes to be put on hold for minutes at a time to wait for a human to do what a computer can do, and when a call center has the right call center technology they can offer you the ability to get all of your needs met just by speaking a few words.

Audio mining software that is able to listen to you speak about what you need or what you want to do and then decipher what you have said and point you in the right direction. The software may then be able to take your credit card number or direct you to the right department so that your call can be handled in a reasonable amount of time by the right department. Gone are the days of being transferred from department to department, never finding the right operator to talk to. Speech analytics have allowed for call centers to learn more about the needs of you and people like you.
