Inventory Software

Monday, March 8th, 2010

One of the most tedious and difficult tasks of running a business is keeping track of the inventory. If you are in search of an inexpensive way to track your business inventory then you may wish to consider investing in some inventory management software. This type of software makes easy work of inventory control and it is very simple to use and manage.

If you are a wholesaler who must keep track of which items are best sellers and would like to turn customer history into more sales, then warehouse inventory management software is available that will give you the tools you need to streamline your work. Managing a business that involves selling material goods requires constant management of the products coming into and leaving your warehouse but more often than not, many business owners lose track of exactly which items are selling well and which should be dropped from the inventory.

POS software is a system that allows business owners of all sizes to keep tabs of all sales, customers, inventory and orders. Point of Sale software is normally very easy to use and it can handle layaway information deposits, refunds, gift cards and much more so that you can concentrate on other aspects of your business.

Expensive Hobby

Monday, March 8th, 2010

My husband has decided to start work again on his PT6A. He used to tinker with it a lot but I decided that it was getting to be far too expensive and so he stopped buying the PT6 parts and eventually left it alone as there was not much more that he could do. I was pleased as it saved us a lot of money but also because it meant that I got to see more of him as he was not always in the workshop all of the time. However, he has recently retired and been given a rather generous leaving present in the way of a lot of money. I am happy for him to spend it on what he wants, because he worked hard to earn the money, but I am little cross that he is now working on the pratt & whitney PT6 again. The expense is not an issue now, but I will start to not see him again. With him returned, I had hoped that we would spend days together doing things but it looks like he will be in the workshop and I will be on my own still. I think that I will have to ask him if he will spend just the days in the workshop and the evenings with me and the at least we will see each other some of the time.
